Here’s your Minnesota Musician of the Day!
This song will make your heartbreak feel softer, nobler, sadder and more mythic. Listen alone in your room, curled in blankets, while you watch the rhythm of your own breathing.
Claire de Lune (whom you might remember from the triple-threat girl group The Chalice) is the voice behind Tiny Deaths, produced by Grant Cutler. While she’s only released one EP so far, the four atmospheric, silvery songs on it are worth listening to over and over again.
Tiny Deaths is touring nationally right now (bravo!), but her next Minneapolis performance is on June 19th, at the Stone Arch Bridge Festival. You can find more info on her Facebook page.
